Set in Tokyo's otaku mecca Akihabara, "Akihabara@DEEP" tells the story of five otaku who drop out of society and end up founding their own successful IT venture called Crook.
Due to global warming and the shifting of tectonic plates, most of the Earth's land has sunk beneath the surface of the ocean. Only Japan remains and refugees from all nations try to incorporate themselves into Japanese society.
